We can model and simulate all types of road equipment: from guardrails embedded in the ground to motorcycle protections, including guardrails for structures, temporary or cable barriers, as well as crash attenuators.

We can model and simulate all types of road equipment: from guardrails embedded in the ground to motorcycle protections, including guardrails for structures, temporary or cable barriers, as well as crash attenuators.

Vertical Supports for Passive Safety

Vertical supports for passive safety refer to structural devices designed to provide automatic and passive protection in emergency situations or extreme conditions.

We can conduct crash simulations on your passive safety structures to verify their behavior upon impact, all in accordance with the EN16767 standard.

For a long time now, GDTech has been one of Belgium's active representatives within the TC226/WG10 (working group responsible for drafting the EN12767 standard).

Intrusion Prevention Systems

The use of bollards and other devices to prevent vehicles from entering prohibited streets is becoming increasingly common. They must, of course, be designed to withstand collisions with vehicles, including cars or trucks being used as ramming devices at high speeds.

GDTech offers to conduct the simulation of these crash tests to test various products, their modifications, and optimizations according to standards such as PAS 68, IWA14-1, ASTM F2656M-18a, or any other crash condition. This type of simulation is also suitable for calculating anti-intrusion barriers and security gates.
