GDTech to give a keynote speech at SIM-AM 2019 Conference (from September 11th to 13th) in Pavia (Italy)

GDTech is delighted to announce that it has been selected as one of the keynote speaker at the SIM-AM 2019 conference in Pavia, Italy.
This speech will present the results of the SkyWin project FASAMA, dedicated to the design of aeronautic parts for Additive Manufacturing.

It will more specifically propose a design cycle for a challenging application, such as a connecting T-Duct, part of the de-icing system of a wing leading edge. Commercial numerical tools, their strengths and their shortcomings will be discussed in light of this ambitious project.  Topology optimization, Design for Additive Manufacturing and Process Simulation, all were major tools that enabled GDTech and Sonaca to successfully produce an enhanced AM version of this part.
